The new villages of Kings Hill are situated close to West Malling in Kent, on the site of an airfield which played an important part in WWII. Today very little is left of the airfield itself although the original Control Tower remains an important feature. The Kings Hill Development, when completed in 2009, will consist of 260,000 sq m of office and business space in a parkland setting, together with more than 2000 new homes, although these numbers are currently under review and the total number of homes will probably increase at the expense of the business park allocation. More than 1800 homes have been completed. This is a major development for the South East, and a challenge for the new Parish Council. Please browse our web pages to find out more about Kings Hill, local events and organisations, and the workings of the Parish Council. If you use this site, we will endeavor to keep it updated and promise to introduce new features. Please come back! The "Ball" graphic is based on a sculpture called "A Different Ball Game" on the roundabout at the entrance to Kings Hill Villages.
To help you find your way around, this site is divided into two main parts: "The Parish Council" and "Community Pages", together with a section dealing with the Community Halls (hiring info and so forth). The first deals with Council issues with information about who's who on the Council, meeting dates, archives of minutes and so on. The Community section consists of more general information and includes information about the development, a village diary, contact list and similar matters. Please dip in and provide us with information which we can include! Contact a Councillor: Because of major problems with viruses and spam, individual email addresses for councillors have been closed for the moment. In the meantime Jill Hodgson (clerk@kingshillparish.gov.uk) will forward all communications.
