Kings Hill School has gained an excellent reputation during the short time it has been open.

school1.jpg (52905 bytes)The school takes children in the age range of 4-11 year olds and currently has about 300 pupils. There are now 11 classrooms following a recent extension to the original building. This extension was completed in Summer 2000 in time for the September intake. A further phase is due for completion by September 2002.

The headteacher  is Ms Sue Tunnicliffe and the school has a management team of 15 governors.

Telephone number for the school is 01 732 842739. There is also a web site at www.kings-hill.kent.sch.uk

The school operates a Walking Bus to help get children to school safely. This works by forming a crocodile of children under close supervision of adults who walk together around the development making their way to the school. Children join the line as it passes their homes. This saves parents the need for individual journeys, saving time and, most likely, car fuel! Helpers are always wanted to assist with the supervision of the children. As long as you are fit enough to keep up with the line and happy to take on the responsibility for the safe passage of the children, Sue Mitchell would love to hear from you. You don't need children at the school to volunteer and many of the existing helpers who are doing more than their fair share would more than welcome your assistance even for one morning a week!  The Bus only operates in the mornings, between 8.30 and 9.0am. Please phone Sue on 844639.
