Lords Walk is reached from Forest Way and is a recent development constructed on what was originally coppiced woodland between Rouse Kent's Garden Village and Kate Reed Wood. The development was not carried out under the control of Rouse Kent and so does not fall within their management remit. Lords Walk residents are not therefore usually consulted by Rouse Kent on local issues although this area is part of the Kings Hill Parish Council responsibility. Geographically and culturally the development is very much part of Kings Hill. The construction work was carried out by Bryant Homes and consisted of about 180 houses. The design characteristics are similar to those of Garden Village making extensive use of areas block paving roads surfaces, small roundabouts and speed control bumps. Lords Walk also features a central Village Green and adjacent children's play area.
